What is Olefin carpet?
Olefin is a synthetic (manufactured) material. It’s also known as polypropylene, a type of thermoplastic used to make a wide range of household products, medical devices and more. Because it’s derived from plastic
Why do Olefin carpets need a particular chemical?
Olefin fibre carpets are derived from a type of plastic product which requires specific chemical usage to prevent damage, dulling, greying and crushing, all common effect from daily use. We use this specially formulated chemical cleaner for a variety of reasons:
Its advanced cleaning chemistry effortlessly releases oily and track-in soils from usually difficult to clean olefin fibres (such as office carpet or carpet tiles)
Used alongside our encapsulation rinse procedure it guarantees against greying or wicking (Wicking is when the soils trapped underneath your carpet move to the surface as it dries, this is why you will sometimes see marks or spots appear after other providers complete a carpet clean)
It helps to overcome dulling and greying problems, whilst also having a pleasant low-odour scent.
